After years spent in the wrong career, I finally concluded that wine is where is where my heart beats the fastest. I soon ditched my nine year stint in Forensic Science and plunged back into the hospitality industry to pursue affairs of the vine with abandon. Turns out, there is much science in wine!

My experience for the most part, has been on the front end of the industry where I've worked in wine retail and as a floor Sommelier in fine-dining environments. I am also trained as a Fromager, and tend to skulk about the webular parts as a food and beverage writer. You could say I'm a proud proprietor to a tiny army of incongruent interests with wine leading at the forefront. 

I am currently preparing for Advanced credentials and plan on moving into some focused writing as I continue to chase the siren call of wine education. Looking forward to a lifetime of learning!
